Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using carpybara.AI ("the Service"), operated by Carpybara.AI Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales ("carpybara.AI", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

carpybara.AI provides tools for analyzing vehicles listed on US salvage auctions, including AI-powered damage analysis, VIN decoding, delivery cost estimation, and customs clearance calculation. The Service is available via the web at carpybara.ai and related subdomains.

3. Accounts

You may create an account using email/password or a third-party provider (e.g., Google). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Some features require a paid subscription (Pro or Ultra). Carpybara.AI Ltd is the seller of record. Payments are processed on our behalf by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. ("Stripe"). By purchasing a subscription you also agree to Stripe's consumer terms of service and privacy policy. Prices are listed in USD and are charged in USD; your bank or card issuer may apply a currency conversion and/or foreign transaction fee. Where applicable, UK VAT or equivalent local taxes will be added at checkout and shown on your invoice.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price. You may cancel at any time from the billing section of your account; access continues until the end of the current billing cycle and no further charges will be made.

In addition to subscriptions, you may purchase one-time AI check packs. These are digital goods delivered instantly upon payment. By completing the purchase you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that, under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, your statutory right to cancel is lost once delivery begins. 5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service's infrastructure.
  • Resell or redistribute data obtained from the Service without written permission.
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise other users' accounts.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." All cost estimates, AI scores, repair cost projections, and market valuations are approximate and provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional automotive, legal, or financial advice. We make no warranty that calculations are accurate or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, carpybara.AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software associated with the Service are the property of carpybara.AI or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written consent.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The parties agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or EU, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Your continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
