Catch the repair-flip before you bid
A "flip" is a car that was sold cheap with heavy damage, quickly repaired to look clean, and re-listed at a much higher price. Our detector compares every VIN against our full auction history — including lots that have been scrubbed from the source site — and flags the patterns that give flippers away.
Damage escalation
The same VIN was listed with more severe damage on a prior sale — e.g. airbag deployment or structural deformation that's no longer being disclosed.
Cosmetic re-list after a flood
