Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about coverage, pricing, and getting started.
What data sources are available through the API?
25+ sources including US salvage auctions (Copart, IAAI), European auctions (Copart DE/FI/ES/UK, BCA Europe, OPENLANE EU, Kvdcars, Auksjonen, Autobid, Klaravik, Autorola, Exleasingcar, Ayvens, Troostwijk, Alcopa) and retail marketplaces (Mobile.de, AutoScout24, AutoTrader, Otomoto, Carvago, AutoUncle, theparking, Autoplius). Your plan controls which sources your API key can read.
How do I get API access?
Fill out the contact form on this page with your use case. We're sales-led — pricing is sized to your monthly request volume and the sources you need. You'll get a reply within one business day with next steps and a custom plan.
Is there a free tier or self-serve checkout?
No self-serve tier. The API is enterprise-only with per-customer contracts so we can match quota, rate limit, and source allowlist to your actual workload. There are no surprise overages or quota traps.
What's the rate limit and monthly quota?
Both are set per contract and visible on your dashboard the moment you sign in. Typical enterprise plans land between 200 and 1,000 requests per minute with monthly quotas from hundreds of thousands to millions of calls. Mid-cycle quota bumps take effect within seconds.
What data format does the API return?
JSON. Every endpoint returns a data array of normalized listings plus a meta block with cursor and timestamps. Fields are canonical across all sources: canonical_make, canonical_model, year, mileage_mi, mileage_km, price_usd, primary_damage, image_url, last_seen.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Subscriptions cancel at the end of the current billing period via the Stripe customer portal we link from your dashboard. Your API keys keep working until the period ends, then auto-suspend.
